Federal Signal Deploys Video Surveillance in Illinois (12/14)
Federal Signal's Safety and Security Systems Group and the village of Clarendon Hills, Ill., deployed a municipal networked security system to enhance public safety and security around the village's downtown train station.

"This system feeds vital public-safety data to our police station to help officers monitor events,” said Clarendon Hill's Chief of Police Patrick Anderson. “It also offers access to video images in their vehicles that will better prepare officers to respond to events before they arrive on scene at the train station."

Federal Signal's municipal networked security system provides Clarendon Hill's first responders with a platform to send vital high-speed data, including streaming video, over a licensed 4.9 GHz wireless mesh network.
