Kenyan Provider Expands Strix Deployments (5/6/08)
Strix Systems announced that Kenya Data Networks (KDN) expanded its network services to six major countries in sub-Sahara Africa. KDN will deliver cost-effective services to Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon and Malawi. KDN first deployed Strix’s mesh networking solution in 2006 for the introduction of its Butterfly wireless/Wi-Fi service. KDN is expanding its subscriber base to provide broadband services to customers in cities and rural areas.
