Daniels Posts SDoCs for P25 Base Station/Repeater (7/28/10)
Daniels Electronics posted test results and supplier’s declaration of compliance (SDoCs) documents to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) responder’s knowledge database.

The publication of the SDoCs for Daniels MT-4E Project 25 (P25) radios encompasses base station, repeater and transportable repeater configurations for the UHF band, with VHF and 700/800 MHz bands to follow shortly. These declarations provide emergency response agencies with confirmation that the Daniels P25 infrastructure equipment has been tested in accordance with the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) P25 standards.

“Daniels is very pleased to be able to once again confirm the compliance of all of its equipment to the P25 standard ensuring interoperability between vendors” said Robert Small, president and chief operating officer (COO) of Daniels Electronics. “As a provider of P25 infrastructure, it is vital that our customers have the assurance that our equipment is capable of operation in a multivendor environment. Compliance Assessment Program (CAP) testing and the publication of the SDoC now provides that formal confirmation.”
