Zuercher Technologies Wins Georgia County 9-1-1 Contract (8/3/12)
The Floyd County (Ga.) 9-1-1 communications center is implementing the Zuercher Technologies ledsCAD and ledsMapping solutions to upgrade the call taking and dispatching processes. The solutions will seamlessly integrate with existing ledsSuite records and jail management software that was recently purchased for the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and Police Department.
With the ledsSuite, information can flow seamlessly throughout the system, giving users immediate access to powerful data that reduces redundant data entry and improves communications across departments. The details gained during a call for service will be available to officers when they create a case report in the records management system or book an inmate in the jail management system, all of which will offer significant time savings.
The system also includes the integrated report-generating tool, ledsReporting, which will allow the center to generate unique statistical reports that can be automated. ledsReporting harnesses information collected within ledsCAD, ledsRecords and ledsJail and uses it to provide a better understanding of the agencies’ workloads and responsiveness.
"With the implementation of the ledsSuite records and jail managements solutions, it was a good time for us to continue consolidating the public-safety systems to Zuercher Technologies' ledsSuite product platform," said Blaine Williams, Floyd County manager. "We should see a reduction in cost for these systems and increased agency efficiency, which we are very excited about."
