Silke Communications Promotes Kittel (8/9/12)
Andy Kittel, Silke Communications’ general manager, was promoted to vice president of national business development. The promotion marks a significant step for the Eugene, Ore., radio communications company, said President Jim Silke Jr.
“When Andy came on in 2009, we knew he could make the operational shifts and strategic changes that it would take for us to look at a national market,” he said. “We brought him on for a three-year contract and he hit all the objectives a full year ahead of our aggressive estimates. His reward is to go national and to take us with him.”
Kittel came to Silke with decades of experience in the communications industry, including 24 years of technical sales in the wireless communications industry.
