Motorola Showcases P25 Products at APCO (8/20/12)
Motorola Solutions introduced the APX 4500 mobile radio. The compact, rugged mobile includes a simplified dash mount design for quick installation and an IP56 rating. Safety features include integrated GPS, intelligent lighting, voice announcement and advanced encryption standard (AES) encryption.
The company also showcased its new accountability solution for its APX Project 25 (P25) two-way radios. The Motorola Tactical Incident Command Solution allows incident commanders to keep track of on-scene firefighter, officer and emergency personnel operations.
Finally, Motorola highlighted its APX 3000 P25 radio combined with mission-critical wireless covert audio accessories, including earbud headphones.
